Shinhwa Choreography

Title

Shinhwa Choreography

Description

As a first-generation K-pop “idol” group, Shinhwa promoted the idea of choreography. The choreography for the releases following their hiatus reveals innovative strategies that seek to avoid standard formations where the members dance in a line.  “This Love” features intricate hand movements, including voguing, as well as more emphasis on individual performances in a circle during the verses, which corresponded to the dance nature of the track.  the standard lineup of members, focusing more on circular formations. “Venus” utilizes male and female dancers in choreography that, in classic Shinhwa style, features the rappers during the rap bridges and the vocalists during the verses and choruses.
